Bought the GLE for QAR ١٢٩٬٧٠٠. The 8-speed automatic with paddles is a big improvement on the old six-speed and the ٢٠١ hp is plenty for Al Corniche traffic.
Ventilated seats and the 12.3-inch screen are the two things I use every day. Toyota Safety Sense with lane tracing made the highway to Dukhan much less tiring.

Picked the Grande trim mainly for evening drives along the Corniche and it delivers exactly the smooth, quiet ride I wanted — road noise is very well controlled even at highway speed.
Cabin feels genuinely premium for the price, and the seats hold up well on the longer weekend trips down to Mesaieed.
V6 has more than enough power for overtaking on Salwa Road, though I mostly leave it in comfort mode for the daily commute into the city.
A very easy car to recommend if you want something refined without stepping up to a full-size luxury sedan.
