Lusail Marina U-turn closed to northbound traffic until 17 September

The Ministry of Interior has closed the U-turn at Lusail Marina Intersection from the evening of 9 September; drivers are asked to follow the signed diversions.

The Ministry of Interior has announced a temporary closure of the U-turn at Lusail Marina Intersection for motorists travelling north. The closure runs from the evening of Wednesday 9 September until Thursday 17 September 2026. The ministry has not given a reason for the works in its notice. Drivers heading north through Lusail who would normally use the marina U-turn should plan for the next available turning point and follow the temporary signage. The ministry asked motorists to "follow the designated traffic routes and road signs during the closure period".
